Christmas greetings

A year is coming to an end, which we all certainly did not expect in this form when we made our good resolutions on New Year's Eve 2019 and looked to the future.

If you are reading these lines, I hope that for you it is true that you, your family and your colleagues have come through the last few months healthy and well, because that is the top priority.

For me and our team here at dab, this is the case, and for that we are very grateful. For our part, we have done everything we can to protect our health and the health of those around us: In some cases, like you, we have worked completely from the home office for long periods of time; we have set up hygiene stations, developed and lived concepts, purchased masks - in other words, come to terms with the situation like many companies in Germany in 2020. Last but not least, one of our central topics is enterprise risk management, and this year we have experienced very vividly what significance and scope the topic can have in practice.

Business-wise, we also look back on the past months with gratitude. We welcomed five new colleagues to newly created positions in 2020. That is not something we take for granted in such uncertain and volatile times. Our economic stability and this organic growth are also, but not only, rooted in the timely topics of data analysis, ICS & digitalization, but are also thanks to you as our customers and business partners. For us, it is not the rapid sales success that has enabled us to get through 2020 well, but the trusting sustainability with which you and many others have been working with us, and not just since 2020. We thank you very much for that.

Next year also has a particularly exciting outlook in store for us: in October 2021, we will move into a new office that is currently under construction, where we will have many times the current space at our disposal.  In this way, we are setting the course for further organic growth in the coming years. Despite the increasing importance of home offices, it is important to us that the dab team has a "home" where we offer ideal working conditions, a productive environment and the best infrastructure. "New work" has not changed this approach for us, but what we are planning is the essence of what we mean by "new work": A combination of high-level personal flexibility, combined with the best professional conditions.

So much for our brief review of 2020 and outlook for 2021. We thank you for the trust you have placed in us, and wish you and your family a good end to the year and peaceful, relaxing holidays - however they may be pronounced this time. Start well into a happy 2021 under positive auspices, and we look forward to the next year with you.
