Review of the dab Innovation Days 2025 - Rethink SAP Data Analysis

This year’s dab Innovation Days at Castle Isarau were a complete success – in every respect. Over the course of two days, we welcomed numerous guests from leading companies. They all came to Lower Bavaria to gain insights into the latest developments in SAP Data Analysis, AI Services and Data Products.

And the feedback? Overwhelmingly positive. Our presentations, which explored the topic of SAP data analysis from a variety of different perspectives, were particularly praised for their thematic diversity. Participants appreciated the depth of content and the clear practical relevance of our sessions, whether they focused on SAP data extraction, data products, our new AI services or Microsoft Fabric integration.

– accompanied by strong partners such as Microsoft, Diligent and Syntax.

As a Microsoft partner and first mover when it comes to mirroring SAP data, we were able to present our solution for SAP data integration in Microsoft Fabric – including a live demo. Our solution, which offers simple implementation, a certified SAP connection and high performance, was very well received.

Our partner, Diligent, also presented its innovative governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and board solutions, which attracted the interest of many participants.

Together with Syntax, we demonstrated how data analysis can generate end-to-end value for businesses and IT departments, from data extraction to providing actionable recommendations.

Here are some highlights from the program:

SAP Data Extraction & Real-Time Integration

In the session on ‘SAP data extraction: delta & real-time easy to implement’, we demonstrated how configuration-free, near real-time data integration can be achieved with dab Nexus, eliminating the need for SAP customization.

Data Products – the engine for Data Science & Reporting

The presentation, ‘The driving force behind data analysis’, demonstrated how our 300+ ready-made analytics can transform raw SAP data into a structured basis for decision-making, ready for use with Power BI, Copilot or Azure AI.

AI Services & Research Expertise

Our data scientists provided impressive insights into practical AI projects, from explainable AI to multi-agent systems, with sessions such as ‘AI Support tailored to your needs’ and ‘R&D Think Tank for Future AI Innovations’.

GRC & Board Management with Diligent

In our presentation, ‘Corporate governance in transition’, and in our live demonstrations, we showed, together with our partner Diligent, how modern GRC platforms manage risk and digitise decision-making processes.

From insight to action – with Syntax

The joint presentation with Syntax, ‘From analytical insights to sustainable actions’, was also a particular highlight. It demonstrated how analysis results can be seamlessly transferred into workflows using Power Apps, for example.

No More Data Digging – Gain Insights Instantly with our AI Analyst

The highlight of the second day was the presentation of our new product, AI Analyst. The high level of interest and the many questions we received confirmed that we are on the right track with this tool.

Location, Technology, Networking – a successful all-round package

Castle Isarau was the perfect choice of venue. The location perfectly combined the Lower Bavarian tradition with state-of-the-art technology, including simultaneous translation for our international guests. This is a truly unique selling point!

The catering was also rated positively across the board, as were the intensive networking opportunities – both with our team and between the companies.
