Microsoft Solutions Partner: certified software designation for dab Nexus and dab Loom
We are pleased to announce an important milestone: dab is now a Microsoft Solutions Partner. For our software offers dab Nexus and dab Loom in the Azure Marketplace, we have received the designation “Solutions Partner with certified software designation” for Manufacturing AI.
This designation is a solution-specific recognition within the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program. It confirms that the listed software offers meet defined technical requirements and are interoperable with Microsoft cloud technologies.
What does the Microsoft Solutions Partner designation mean?
The designation “Solutions Partner with certified software” is awarded to specific software offers listed in the Microsoft Marketplace. It is not a blanket certification of the entire company but applies to the respective solution.
Within the program, several aspects are evaluated, including:
- technical interoperability with Microsoft cloud services
- architecture and security requirements
- marketplace readiness
- customer success and performance criteria
For customers, this provides additional transparency: the awarded solutions meet defined Microsoft ecosystem requirements and can be integrated into modern cloud architectures.
Azure Marketplace and Microsoft MACC Eligibility
Our designated solutions are available in the Azure Marketplace and meet the requirements for Microsoft MACC Eligibility (Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment).
For companies with a strategic Azure focus, this creates several advantages:
- simplified procurement through Microsoft
- eligibility for existing Azure budgets through Microsoft MACC Eligibility
- transparent licensing and contractual models
- faster procurement processes
For organizations running larger cloud initiatives, Microsoft MACC Eligibility makes it easier to integrate new software solutions into existing Azure strategies.
Which solutions received the designation?
The certified software designation applies to our Marketplace offers dab Nexus and dab Loom.
dab Nexus – SAP data integration for Azure and Microsoft environments
With dab Nexus, we enable high-performance and scalable extraction of SAP data for modern cloud architectures.
Key capabilities include:
- SAP-certified connectivity without modifications to the SAP core system
- delta-based data extraction
- seamless integration into Microsoft Azure through connectivity with ADLS Gen2 and Microsoft Fabric OneLake
- scalability for complex multi-SAP landscapes (ECC and S/4HANA)
As a Microsoft Solutions Partner, dab develops solutions like dab Nexus to help organizations efficiently integrate SAP data into cloud, analytics, and data platforms.

dab Loom – SaaS for SAP data analytics on Microsoft Fabric
dab Loom is our cloud-based solution (SaaS) for simple, fast, and secure SAP data analytics – fully built on the Microsoft Fabric platform. The goal of dab Loom is to make SAP analytics easily accessible in the cloud, even for non-technical users. The solution provides preconfigured content and analyses that can be used directly in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
How dab Loom works (simplified):
- Data extraction: SAP data is extracted using a Clean Core Level-B-certified function module.
- Data storage: The extracted data is stored in a lakehouse in the Microsoft Azure EU West region.
- Data transformation: Transformed SAP data is prepared as reports or event logs.
- Power BI reporting: The data is used in prebuilt Power BI reports, for example for procurement, sales, and process mining.
For dab Loom as well, the “Solutions Partner with certified software” designation confirms the verified interoperability of the solution within the Microsoft ecosystem according to program criteria.

Another milestone in our Microsoft partnership
As a Microsoft Solutions Partner, we have been developing solutions for many years that securely and efficiently integrate SAP data into modern cloud architectures.
The designation for dab Nexus and dab Loom reinforces our commitment to delivering interoperable and market-ready software within the Microsoft ecosystem.
