An outlook on the year 2022

The new year is not quite so new anymore, and after the usual professional housekeeping around the turn of the year, we at dab: Daten - Analysen & Beratung GmbH are of course back in the thick of our day-to-day business. This is subordinate to the goals we have set ourselves this year, and which we would like to share with you at this point.

We make data science applicable

Solutions for many exciting use cases have also emerged in the last three years, during which we have greatly expanded our Data Science division. This extends beyond the useful expansion of classic analyses: of course, our double payment analysis, for example, can be supplemented with machine learning to further improve the quality of the results. More exciting, however, are completely new use cases, such as completely redesigning SAP authorization analyses using AI and offering you an unbiased analysis of conspicuous authorization combinations without having to define the rules for them beforehand. 

SAP S4/HANA readyness

All of this is based on our enormous experience in the SAP environment, which not only includes the classic data structures and business processes, but also the S4/HANA conversions, which we have had the pleasure of accompanying and with which we always have our fingers on the pulse in terms of content - experience that benefits you.


A new era in content-based data extraction

Our success story includes the dab:Exporter, the best interface for content-based data extraction. What do we mean by "content-based"? Well, there are many connectors for SAP data on the market. Most of them, however, are limited to a purely technical access option. But which data from the systems are needed to fulfil certain content requirements, which related data (tables) still play a role here, which attributes (fields) should absolutely be considered, one is often left alone with these questions. Speaking of new.  As you will have noticed, our valued partner Galvanize (formerly ACL Services Ltd.) is now part of the Diligent family. This gives us access to a comprehensive, integrated product range - ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) is the buzzword. Here we fit perfectly into the big picture ESG with our solutions for data extraction and data analysis, audit, ICS and risk management, and offer a data and analysis-based foundation for the product portfolio of our trusted business partner.


Increased Global Coverage through our Partner Network

In the second half of last year, thanks to new resources, we paid special attention to our distribution partners. Expanding the partner network to further increase global coverage, as well as actively involving our partners in the communication structures, will also be an important point this year. This may affect many of you only indirectly, but especially when there is a need to personally advise and support local units on site within the framework of your group structures, we are ideally positioned to do so. Currently, our partners - in addition to those based in Germany - are represented in England, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, the USA, Slovakia and Malaysia.
