Review of the webinar with Minit - Process Mining in the Internal Audit

Our joint webinar with the process visualization expert showed us the positive results that an internal auditor can achieve by using Process Mining. Instead of manual, time-consuming process analysis with subjective information, your audit results are now based on a data-driven and verified knowledge base.

In the webinar, we would like to share with you not only the end result, but rather the path to the desired goal. We will demonstrate live in the application how you can download the right data and tables from your SAP® system and automatically prepare it in event logs for the Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash (dab:ProcessIntelligence). The work effort is limited only to the containment of the data sets and the connection to their IT resources. The solutions are configured in such a way that they can be considered for daily and continuous use, thus creating the basis for Continuous Auditing.

Once the event logs have been successfully generated, the transaction data can be imported into the Minit interface. The Minit Analyst software visualizes the event logs in a clearly designed process graphic. In just a few steps, you can check the functionality of current processes in practice and derive recommended actions for possible compliance violations. The Root-Cause Analysis uses Machine Learning to identify the why of your findings and determine hidden correlations in process data. With the Minit dashboards the results can be, clearly presented, shared with the departments or management in the company, thus creating the basis for targeted reporting.
