Review of our webinar with the CANPACK Group

In 2017, the internal audit department of CANPACK Group implemented the first professional data analytics solution. 5 years later, a team of data analytics specialists has been formed, which is now not only operating in the field of auditing, but also represents added value for teams in the area of purchasing or accounting.

In our joint webinar with the CANPACK Group, Agata Pastuszak (Group Internal Audit - Data Analytics Manager) described precisely this approach and used a concrete example to illustrate how easily and efficiently all company locations across the globe can work with the analysis results.

The basis is created by the combination of the data extraction tool dab:Exporter, the analysis solution ACL Analytics Exchange and the dab:AnalyticSuite. The data analytics team carries out the analyses, prepares the data in Power BI Desktop and makes the reports available to the users via the cloud connection Power BI Service. The results can be retrieved in table form or graphs, trends can be mapped and best-practice experiences can be derived. The newly acquired data basis creates the conditions for internal benchmarking and serves as an indicator for potential process optimisations. The frequency of data downloads shows how successfully the workflow has been implemented at CANPACK. Where reports were previously generated on a quarterly basis, the data is now updated daily.

Speaking of changes, both the switch to SAP Connector and the upcoming upgrade to SAP S/4HANA are further topics on the agenda of the webinar. Agata Pastuszak, together with our colleague Piotr Lipski, spoke about the advantages and disadvantages of implementing the SAP Connector and showed us how to use the tool in practice.

If you are interested in one of the topics, please have a look at the recording of the webinar. Our team will be available to answer any questions you may have afterwards!
