Rückblick: DIIR - Digitale Tage 2018
From 12.-13.06. The Digital Days of the German Institute for Internal Audit e.V. (DIIR) took place in Düsseldorf. The dab supported the event as a sponsor and was even with two people on site. The topic of this year's congress "Digitalization offers great opportunities for revision" is a statement that we can fully support. The solutions of dab and ACL offer digital solutions for the revision and all other specialist departments in the company.
Our colleague Florian Popan also picked up on digitization and systems and the cloud in his lecture "Do you already audit or still install it?". Florian talked about the advantages and disadvantages of cloud-based solutions in audit management and demonstrated the possibility of using the cloud software ACL GRC for internal audit.
In addition to a wide variety of specialist presentations, we were able to hold a series of interesting discussions, which showed us that the topic of "digital data analysis" offers enormous added value for internal auditing. We as dab can help companies to advance digitization in the area of auditing and other areas in order to exploit the opportunities of digitization as a positive tailwind.
