AM:DataConsult (now dab:Software) Business Assurance Series

After very successful events in (amongst other places) Fulda and Cologne another part of the “ACL Business Assurance” series will take place in Dortmund on the 6th of March.

The happening is organized by our partner company dab:Software and will offer several interesting presentations. The focus will be on ACL™ data analytic solutions for SAP© data as well as new features of ACL s ™ solution portfolio.

One of the presentations is held by Mr. Günter Müller, former audit manager at BAYER AG, and titled "Analyzing Big data –The future of Auditing and as well as a controlling tool for management". In addition to Mr. Müller there are three more presentations by hands-on experienced data analytic specialists. You can find the detailed agenda here.

One of them is Stefan Wenig , CEO of the dab:Group. He will talk about „Two different areas of application for SAP© data analytics: Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) vs. Ad-Hoc analytics”. He will differ between two approaches when it comes to establishing data analytics as tool in a company.

On one hand, especially in Internal Audit, data needs to be analyzed “ad-hoc”. This means, auditors need the flexibility to filter, combine or sum up data on the fly based on information they receive within an audit. On the other hand there are CCM-approaches: Analytics will be performed on a continuous base, scheduled and fully automated. All results will be distributed to different „data consumers“, decentralized and maybe including Dashboard visualization.

The ACL™ Business Assurance Series will take place on the 6th of March, 10:00-14:00 in Hotel Pullmann in Dortmund.

Registration can be done online at the website of dab:Software or by sending us an email at info@dab-gmbh.de.

The event will be in German, however we will provide Mr. Stefan Wenig’s presentation in an English version online later on.
